How to: Create a deferred print job.
Solution:
Click the 'Start' button, select 'Settings', and select 'Printers'. Right-click the appropriate printer icon and select 'Work Offline' or 'Pause Printing'.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Printers'. (The 'Printers' window appears.)

3) Right-click the appropriate printer icon. (A pop-up menu appears.)

4) Do one of the following:
a) For portable computers or computers using a network printer, select 'Work Offline'.
b) For computers using local printers, select 'Pause Printing'.
NOTE 1: When a document is sent to the printer, it will be stored until the printer is connected and online.
NOTE 2: Printers that have proprietary printer configuration and software may have different spooling controls. Consult the printer manual for the proper procedure.
5) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Close' to exit the 'Printers' window.
